Hello all students. This week's homework entailed preparing your answers in the book on 54, letters C, D, E and F. We will check those in class tomorrow. In addition, we will practice reading page 55 together, and do a little bit on page 57 and 58. Interestingly, a recycling 'sorting' facility is offered on page 59, which is similar to the project we did in class. I think this unit is very useful and practical because recycling should be continued by every country far into the future. One worthwhile project of course is: how to create new energy resources from the recycling process itself. If you were to figure this out, you would make big inroads into both recycling and energy creation. Let's work on it.
In addition, tomorrow we will do some reading about the recycling industry and learn some new vocabulary. We will also view 2 or 3 videos relating to recycling waste. They are in English, but the speaking is slow and clear, and will be good for your English listening and speaking practice. These videos are also informative and interesting and shed some light on the problems with recycling waste in this day and age.
The homework for next week will probably be to write a short paragraph on how you think various kinds of waste should be collected and how you think this waste could be recycled. We will think deeply about the problem of recycling waste.
In addition, I would like to introduce blogging to the class. I will explain how to make a blog if no one has done this yet. Then I will ask you to follow this blog. This can help you read this blog automatically. When you create a blog, you can share your ideas easily with the class members. I may ask you to comment on this Environmental Science blog from time to time as well. We will start to make blogs tomorrow.
That's all for this blog. See you all tomorrow.
I shared homework on October 9. Please look at google drive. And, I made blog. See you next class.
